G.G. Jazz Trio

Takana Miyamoto (p) Noriko Ueda (b) and Masumi Jones (ds) formed a jazz piano trio called 'Groovin’ Girls' in Boston, USA. After the release of their 1st album “Piece of Cake”, the group separated, making their way to Georgia, New York & Texas. In the summer of 2014, the three members that built their career as musicians, reunited in Tokyo after 15 years apart. Rather than having lengthy conversations, they instantly started recording, reuniting and bonding together through their music. Although each track had a theme, the recording focused more on the trio's precious performance and sounds.
