Alternative rock band from New Brunswick N.J. Original lineup was Alex Saville (guitar), Amy Jacob (vocals), Thierry Bonnaire (guitar), Richard Sternin (drums) and George Vlahogiannis (bass) This was the lineup behind both of Ex-Vegas' singles, Thin Across/1993 and Hydrostatic/Trepid. Vlahogiannis was replaced on bass by the talented Jim Halsey. This was the lineup during the near-entirety of Ex-Vegas performing career. After Richard Sternin left the band to start a career in New York, Amy and Alex kicked out Bonnaire. This caused apparently caused a rift with Jim Halsey, who was not consulted. Halsey summarily left Ex Vegas soon thereafter. This picture shown of the band is not Ex Vegas. It is Alex and Amy and some other people, but not Bonnaire, Halsey, or Sternin. Following Sternin's departure, Bonnaire's removal, and Halsey's exit, Ex Vegas had a few different permutations, with Saville and Jacobs (now married to Saville) eventually starting Prosolar Mechanics instead of hanging on to the Ex Vegas name.
