Joel Sjöö

Swedish songwriter and producer, born November 4, 1979, in Grovare parish. He grew up in Dalsjöfors in Borås municipality. Together with Dutchmen Duncan Laurence and Wouter Hardy, he wrote for Arcade, which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 for the Netherlands. He had then written songs together with Duncan Laurence for three years. Sjöö has also written songs together with Andreas Söderlund, Paul Epworth, Charlee, Ronni Vindahl, Linnea Södahl, and Daniel Ledinsky. He has also written songs for artists such as Rebecca & Fiona, Janice Kavander and Erik Rapp. Joel Sjöö was previously in the music group They Live by Night.
