Morin Heights Project Band
Настоящее имя: Morin Heights Project Band
Об исполнителе:
The Morin Heights Project Band consists of Quebec musicians Gilles Losier, Stephen Barry and Andrew Cowan The Morin Heights Project was a recording opertunity hosted by André Perry in 1976 at his recording studion, Le Studio in Morin Heights, Quebec. A number of local Quebec and Montreal folk musicians were invited, but no record was ever produced from the material recorded. Singer-songwriter Chris Rawlings claim in one of his songs, "English Band in Le Studio", that André was payed by the PQ (Parti Québécois) not to release the material. This, according to Rawlings, because he had recorded a song criticising the political party during the session. The song in question, "Hey Rene", has since been released by the artist himself.
