Anders Larsson (3)

Swedish accordion player. He was born at 1973 Stora Tuna in Dalarna, and claims to have been bitten by the accordion music as a four year old. A contributing cause was the discovery of the then very popular accordion player Leif "Pepparn" Persson, whom Anders visited in Borlänge together with his accordion-interested father. In the same year he got his first instrument, a piano model in a small model - the piano accordion has therefore become a main instrument. As a five-year-old, Anders debuted on the radio and made his appearance a year later in the TV program "Nygammalt". As a teenager he won the first prize at accordion competitions on three occasions. After initially focusing on Frosini's and Ragnar Sundquist's repertoire, Anders began to take an interest in the Christmas drill repertoire, and also of accordion swing in Nisse Lind's spirit. As an accordion player, Anders Larsson not only has a mixing technique, he also has a very special ability to acquire older styles. Without blinking, for example, he can switch from dance beat à la Jularbo to concert music by Ragnar Sundquist's brand, to quickly switch to breakthrough Nisse Lind improvisations that would make many of the old swing masters air turn green with envy. Anders Larsson and Gunnar Persson started playing together in about 1988. Anders was then fifteen years old and has long been regarded as something of a wonder child on the instrument accordion. In the interaction with Gunnar, Anders is responsible for the improvised second parties. Gunnar's Christmas gift and Anders's imaginative and quiet backing.
