Об исполнителе:
Polish conceptual artist, situationist, absurdist, videographer and photographer (b. 1968, Szczecin); lives and works in Łódź. Cezary Bodzianowski is known for his unorthodox, quirky artistic practice, defined by the artist as a "personal theatre of events" and sometimes compared by critics to Fluxus and Dadaistic tradition. His performances transcend the distinction between art and reality, typically outside established gallery and museum spaces: shops, parks, public transport, etc. Bodzianowski creates spontaneous happenings involving random bypassers as (un)willing participants and disrupting everyday routines and the conventional city "rhythm." Bodzianowski studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1988–90) and the Royal Academy Of Fine Arts Antwerp (1990–94) in Belgium. Over the years, he organized dozens of solo exhibitions at Kölnischer Kunstverein, Edward Krasiński's Foksal Gallery Foundation and other prominent European venues. Cezary also participated in numerous group shows at Muzeum Sztuki, Łodź, Tate Modern, WIELS, Centre Pompidou, Kunsthal Charlottenborg and Museo D'Arte Moderna E Contemporanea, among others.
