Stage name adopted by Θανάσης Οικονόμου just before the 1984 release of the Art Of Parties' first (and eventually last) release with Creep Records (2): Last Time / Central Room. The name change was made in hopes of "blending in" during an upcoming label-hunting trip to London, England. Two other band members, Παντελής Βασιλάκης (Andy for this release) and his brother, Δημήτρης (James for this release), did end up having one meeting with A&R staff at Island Records, who were surprised at how non-Greek the names of these clearly Greek-sounding young men were... The single with Creep was the only work by the band, or by any of the three members who were "anglicized," that used these names (Κώστας Κυριακίδης was, wisely, Costas). Θανάσης continued as Athanassios Economou, Παντελής as Pantelis Vassilakis, and Δημήτρης mainly as Dimitrios Vassilakis.
