Janie Hampton is a British author of over a dozen books including a major biography of Joyce Grenfell published in 2002 by John Murray. She has edited letters, drawings and poetry by Joyce Grenfell and been involved with radio performance of some writings kept by Grenfell with Maureen Lipman, which have subsequently been released as audio books by the BBC. She has worked as a BBC World Service producer.
