Aeon Cosmowyn

Aeon (noun) : 1. An indefinite and very long period of time. 2. A power existing from eternity Cosmowyn: 1. Cosmology (Greek κόσμος, kosmos “world” and -λογία, -logia “study of”): an account or theory of the origin of the universe. 2. Owyn (Celtic name): Young warrior. These words describe in a complete way, the character, interests, and philosophies of Mervyn Owen van de Kleut, also known as “Aeon Cosmowyn”. Mervyn was born on 30-dec-1989 in Heerlen, Netherlands. At an early age, he developed a deep interest in metaphysics and music. As a result of his autism, the way for him to connect and express his emotions was through music. He would use his voice, or the piano to play the saddest of notes, this would help him to let go of all the sadness he felt. Music has become a therapeutic tool for him, like a diary. Each song in his repertoire represents a life lesson or an important event. For Aeon Cosmowyn, it feels like his subconscious is talking to him through the melodies of his creation, and new insights and personal growth are gained through it each time. At first, he was hesitant to share his creations with the world, because of the personal and intimate nature of his music, but after lots of encouragement from his friends and family, in 2014 he finally published his first album: “Cosmic Insights”. Since his appearance into the world as a musical artist, Aeon Cosmowyn discovered, that many people connected to his music on a deep and personal level, and that many people found healing and comfort in his sounds. This has inspired him to continue making music to this day. At present, Aeon Cosmowyn is blessed to be surrounded by many great artists who keep pushing him to increase the quality and complexity of his music and shed his shyness of the world and embrace his creations. Aeon Cosmowyn sounds can best be described as entrancing Psybient with a message of love and hope.
