Об исполнителе:
Zulma Lobato is a singer, actress, model and TV personality from Argentina. Zulma's breakthrough occurred in 2009 when she was invited in the Cronica TV’s show ‘Hechos y Protagonistas’, hosted by Anabella Ascar. In that first interview Argentina discovered Zulma’s situation: a transgender woman that was forced into prostitution and was being blackmailed by the police. There, Zulma expressed her wish to sing and act, performing a cover of the title song of the smash-hit TV series ‘Resistiré’, that would go on to become one of her landmarks. Months later, Zulma would release her first original song: ‘Yo Soy Zulma’ and that’s where the true Zulmamania begun: The public wen crazy for the song, and she appeared in the most important TV shows across all Argentine television and quickly fell in love with Zulma’s character. She went on to perform on her own theatre play that very summer in Mar del Plata. Months later she would go on to release her debut album ‘No te Lo Voy a Permitir’ – the name comes for a phrase she used in one of her most iconic TV appearances and would on to become a cultural slang still used today – featuring 12 new tracks. From 2012 onwards, Zulma’s spotlight went off as quickly as it was turned on for the first time: After a series of fights with her former manager and other TV personalities, Zulma went on to live a quieter life. Currently, she resides in Buenos Aires where she still is recognized by fans and the public alike.
