Miss Universe (2)

Austin, Texas pop punk/power pop band. The first incarnation of the band was formed in Iowa by vocalist Michelle Rule, guitarist and songwriter Chris Braun and drummer Josh Power. The three moved to Austin in 1992. The band was joined by Chris East and Paul Beast on bass, they were later replaced by Tom Balentine. In 1995, they agreed to change the band’s name due to a legal agreement with the Miss Universe beauty pageant and became Miss Galaxie.
