GÓSS (11)

The band Góss is a Icelandic trio, made up of Sigríður Thorlacius, Sigurður Guðmundsson and Guðmundur Óskar Guðmundsson. The name of the band is composed of the first letters of the members' names. Sigríður Thorlacius and Sigurður Guðmundsson hardly need to be introduced, but they have long been among the best known and most admired singers in the country. Guðmundur Óskar is one of the leading and most versatile bass players in the country, but he has played with an incredible number of bands, in addition to working as a recording manager for numerous projects. The group is connected to strong family and friendship ties but Guðmundur Óskar and Sigurður are brothers, Sigríður and Guðmundur are together in Hjaltalín and all three of them have worked together on many different projects. It can therefore be said that it was quite predictable when the band GÓSS was formed in the summer of 2017.
