Life Steiner grew up in Lebring, South Styria, up to the age of 18. There he attended the local music school as a child. In 1989 he moved to Upper Styria, where he graduated in 1993 from the Liezen Federal Academy of Commerce. After training as an academically certified insurance clerk at the Karl Franzens University in Graz, he switched to private radio Antenna Styria after a successful admission procedure, where he worked as a news anchor for four years.
