Scobra, b. Mark Scarboro in Heidelberg, Germany is an American producer and songwriter operating worldwide & currently based at Douglas Island AK and on sabbatical finishing a few books. - Began career working under Robert “Bubba” Neligh of TCP Systems of San Angelo. TX designing large scale audio touring systems. Notable clients; INXS, U2, Sex Pistols, and a ton of Country acts. - Touring guitarist in the supergroup CO Jones featuring members of the Sting, Pink Floyd, Duran Duran, James Brown, Goo Goo Dolls, Ben Harper, Dave Wakeling and others. - Heavily involved in the LA underground music scene working on thousands of tracks with hundreds of artists for years and years. Notable acts include Shapeshifters, Dionvox, Mascaria, Existereo, Sleepy Brown, Awol One, OMD, Wu Tang Killa Beez, Black Knights, Candys 22, and Mickey Avalon. - Worked extensively with NASA/JPL on a super wide range of productions involving the space program both in music production and sound design. - Founding member of the group Dionvox. - DIONVOX was formed in the Hollywood Hills during a Wu Tang Clan Killa Beez / Q Tip / Black Knights recording session. Nurtured for 2 years under manager Leila Steinberg (Tupac Shakur, Earl Sweatshirt) via her “Microphone Sessions” weekly workshop, Steinberg drilled the band mercilessly, always stressing artistic continuity and community involvement with no slacking. - Founding member of Deep Funk Cobra along with Sun Ra guitarist Wells Jones. - Founded ALT/lab Las Vegas, an 8 studio complex that cranked out thousands of tracks with hundreds of artists for years and years and years before moving the operation to the Arctic in June 2023. - - - Scobra currently serves the coldest beats for the hottest singers at the most beautiful location on earth.
