Geoffrey Moore (3)

New Zealand born tenor (b. Rotorua 19?? - Original advertising manager of a New Zealand country newspaper. During WWII in NZAF and sent to Canada sang at camp shows and broadcast on radio. Married an American girl in 1943. Returned to New Zealand in 1945? and in 1946/47? came to Sydney to study at the NSW Conservatorium. Also appeared on the Colgate Palmolive show and on stage at the Regent Theatre (1948). Left for the U.S. in 1949 and later joined the staff of the Detroit Conservatory.
