MC Waraba & Meleke Tchatcho

The Malian rappers MC Waraba and Mélèké Tchatcho are known for their hybrid sound called the balani show, a subtle combination of digital kuduro, off-beat and hip-life that retains the DNA of Mandingo music (balafon / taman). Created in the bustling district of Bagadadji, the mc's roam the scenes of the capital and quickly become known as the bearers of the Balani.
