Roxalt

Christian metal band from San Antonio, Texas. Founded 1982 as "Rock Salt" (named after a horse from TV horse race program Let's Go to the Races) by brothers Keith Wells (lead vocals and guitar) and Michael Wells (bass) along with Jim Brandt (drums) and Arny Alexander (lead guitar). Michael Wells was later replaced by Craig Bellinger. The band name changed circa 1984 to Roxalt as it was felt it looked better in logos.
