Об исполнителе:
Swedish blues and rock singer, guitarist, composer and amateur actor, born September 13, 1962 in Borlänge, living in Gothenburg. He has played and sung with most of Sweden's most established artists: Tommy Körberg, Mats Ronander, Mikael Rickfors, Clas Yngström, Plura Jonsson, Totta Näslund, Louise Hoffsten and many more. Ola Bjurman tours almost exclusively with his own band Bjurman Band, which was formed back in 1992. In addition to Bjurman himself, the band includes Nikke Ström on bass guitar, Bengan Blomgren on guitar and Tomas Olsson on drums. In 2008, Bjurman began a collaboration with guitarist Peter O Ekberg, who has been active as a musician and music producer in Austin, Texas for 10 years. From this collaboration came the album Fogerty Files, which is a tribute to John Fogerty's unique songwriting. At the same time, it is a tribute to the 40 years that have passed since the first record was released with Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1968. Bjurman is also a guitar technician and guitar builder and since 1991 runs the guitar workshop Doctor Guitar in Gothenburg. He was a driving force behind the social music site "Recommended Music/From a Friend". Ola is the brother of the former the rock writer, now Aftonbladet's correspondent in New York, Per Bjurman, who occasionally also appeared in "Recommended Music/From a Friend". Ola Bjurman plays the role of Jan-Ove, the controversial chairman of the bowling club Tre Kulor, in Johannes Nyholm's film Jätten, which was awarded a Guldbagge for Best Film of the Year at the Guldbaggegalan 2017.
