Antonio Corona Alcalde

Mexican musicologist, based at UNAM, Mexico. After graduating at the UNAM, he moved to London where he studied towards a Higher Degree with Christopher Wilson, Anthony Rooney, and Tim Crawford among others. He also has an interest on the survival of Baroque performance practices and their relationship to Mexican traditional music. Besides his research activities, he has contributed with notes on style and performance to several recordings by Hopkinson Smith, Shirley Rumsey, and Christopher Wilson (2).
