Bert Worth's Flotilla Sextette

This group was a contingent from the 11-piece band led by Harry Yerkes under the name The Yerkes S.S. Flotilla Orchestra which was engaged to play at the Wattle Path dance hall in Melbourne, Australia for a year starting in late 1924. The Sextette was under the nominal leadership of Bert Worth, who was a member of the Yerkes Orchestra. They made two records in mid-1925 for World Record (Australia) Pty. Ltd. which were released on the company's Austral Duplex Record label. Copies can be found credited as both Bert Worth's Flotilla Sextette and Yerkes Flotilla Sextette.
