The Ride Theory released two full-length albums under that name. Founding bassist Sauce Jankus departed in 2004, while John Smith's addition to the group was announced in October that year. The band changed its name to Young Rival in 2007. Guitarist Kyle Kuchmey left the band at the end of 2009.
