Edith Harrhy

Edith Harrhy (1893-1969), composer and entertainer, was born on 19 December 1893 in London, daughter of Jonathan Harrhy, a council inspector from Monmouthshire, Wales, and his wife Annie, née Rose. Edith always attributed her musical gift to her Welsh heritage. She spent most of her life in Australia, and many of her works were published during the period 1921-1958.
