Alexta

British female singer, currently active as solo artist. Under her real name Alex Taylor she was a member of No Obligation, a Swansea based female fronted rock/pop/acoustic band. Deano Jeffery (Lead/rhythm guitar) met singer Alex whilst working together at a call centre and the two of them formed the band, coming up with the name 'No Obligation' as it was part of their sales script at the call centre. He started writing songs with her, 'Two Worlds Apart' and 'Black Widow' being the first songs they wrote together. She is still active in the band as of December 2021. She was invited to work on DJ Darren Tates 'DT8 Project' album 'Perfect World' where under the name of 'Alexta' she sings on hit track 'Hold me til the end' and several other tracks on the album including 'Falling' where she duets with Gavin Rossdale of Bush. Songs from the album featuring Alex's voice have been aired on major radio stations and played at clubs across the UK and Europe.
