Auckland based band Synergy recorded Closest Thing To Heaven as this year's theme song for the Family Violence Campaign. Written by Mark Casey and produced by Alan Jansson (How Bizarre, In The Neighbourhood), it has already been widely aired in the recent television documentary Picking Up The Pieces. Keyboard player Jacob Simonson says: "It's a realisation piece, saying 'take a look at yourself'."
