The Municipal Chorus Of San Francisco

Choir founded 1925 by Dr. Hans Leschke. Until the late 1960s the chorus performed at the the War Memorial Opera House under Bruno Walter, Pierre Monteux and others. The group disbanded when Dr. Leschke retired. San Francisco City Chorus is a descendant of the San Francisco Municipal Chorus.
