Mark Forry

Mark Forry is a singer, instrumentalist, arranger and teacher in a broad range of styles. He received his doctorate in ethnomusicology from UCLA following extensive fieldwork in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia on tamburica and vocal traditions. He has taught Balkan singing and instruments since 1980 and has been vocal director of Aman and other vocal ensembles. Mark is a longtime member of the Yeseta Brothers Tamburica Orchestra of Los Angeles and he performs with several other groups in the San Francisco Bay Area.
