D-SIRE is a Dutch artist duo consisting of Laura Eisenga and Max Dorst. They combine both Future bass and Pop. It is an intuitive combination of original electronic music genres combined with crystal clear vocal lines that create a poppy, catchy and uplifting beat to listen to. D-SIRE, both located in and around Groningen (The Netherlands), started out at a special Young Talent Class created in High-School for students that were musically gifted and interested in a future in the music industry. From there on, they worked a full week together, finding a musical connection that is now also built upon a friendship which still thrives till this day. Laura Eisenga's voice can be recognized as a warm, soulful and jazzy sound. In their songs she writes about her personal experiences which include themes such as: personal growth, friends, letting go, insecurities and the future. The future is something D-SIRE would always be inspired by, which the artist name and songs might suggest as well. The electronic music is produced by multi-instrumentalist Max Dorst. He is inspired by electronic music in the form of sound design. Furthermore, various progressive rock music genres that are characterized by complexly written pieces and long intros which are the foundation for his arrangement skills. The journey of D-SIRE starts with their first single “Wishing”, which specifically tells the story of having visions and suspicions about the future, hoping to discover the unknown.
