Russell Shores

Bassist in Austin, Texas. Born in New York, he began playing bass at age 12. Shores has played with artists including The Kevin Fowler Band. Debra Watson & The Smokin Aces, Austin For Peace, Lucid Dream, The Steve O’Neil band, The Major Burkes Band and The Blues Specialist. He teaches the electric and contra bass at the Academy of Music in Austin and has played in several church music groups.
