Jimmy Doyle

James Vivian Alfred Doyle (born 14 October 1945 – died 5 May 2006 from liver cancer) was an Australian musician, radio presenter and songwriter. He was the founding mainstay guitarist in Ayers Rock (2) (8/1973–1981), an Australian jazz fusion, progressive rock band. He was guitarist for Australian bands the Soulmates (1967), Col Nolan Soul Syndicate, Aesops Fables (1968–1969), Moonstone (4) (1970), King Harvest (2) (9–10/1970), Ayers Rock (2) (8/1973–1981) and Georgie Fame & the Aussie Blue Flames (1988).
