Evan Premo

Marshfield, Vermont based composer and chamber music double bassist. Son of Dean Premo and Bette Premo in whose family act he got his musical start. Brother of Laurel Premo. Married to Mary Bonhag. Premo is a member of DeCoda, a chamber music group from New York City. Former member of Philadelphia based chamber music collective Ensemble ACJW. He is founder of "Beethoven and Banjos" a collaboration project between chamber music and folk artists in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He also founded Scrag Mountain Music which presents what they term "innovative, interactive, and affordable performances of chamber music."
