Bird Of Ill Omen

Bird Of Ill Omen was a metalcore band from Miami, Florida founded in the summer of 1996 by ex-members of Crestfallen, Culture (2), Morning Again, Shai Hulud, Floor (2) and Brethren (8). After considerable line-up changes, the band signed with Eulogy Recordings and recorded a 6-song album in the spring of 1997; the band embarked on two North American tours later that year before the album was ultimately released in February 1998. During their second tour, in December 1997, their drummer was denied access back into the United States from Canada, forcing the band into a hiatus. During the downtime, members formed Dead Mens' Theory and joined As Friends Rust. Bird Of Ill Omen reformed with a new drummer in late 1998 to record a 4-song EP and book another tour which was cancelled. The EP was released posthumously in 1999.
