Richard Ankers

Swedish musician, born July 21, 1978. He was born and raised in Stockholm, where he also lived all his life. He was the drummer in Melody Club from 2001 - 2005 and appeared on the group's first two albums Music Machine and Face the Music. In 2005, Ankers was replaced by Andy Miltvedt. He made a comeback in the group in October 2010, when Andy A resigned from the band, but already in January 2011, Ankers announced that he was taking a time-out from the group, due to being involved in a lawsuit. Ankers also did not participate during the group's appearance at the Melodifestivalen. Later in 2011, the group announced that Richard Ankers is back as a permanent drummer.
