Mobile Mama Jazz band

Swedish Dixieland jazz band from Gothenburg. They played at the second Jazz i Allén at Gågatan by Folkets hus in Trollhättan around July 5, 2007 The Gothenburg band Mobile Mama Jazz Band plays a swing that is inspired by the 30s and 40s swing that it could sound like in a ballroom in Kansas City or New York. Drummer Fredrik Hamrå also plays with Mystos Hot Lips, who performed at Trollhättan's Jazzfest during Fallen days. Pianist Per Johansson plays in, among others, Amani or with his own group. Andreas Hall, on clarinet and saxophone, can also be heard in, for example, the modern jazz group Mess. Someone may have heard the singer and trumpeter Klas Nilsson with the Janne Ersson Big Band, which also includes the trombonist Marcus Ahlberg. The bass is handled by Stefan Bergman, who otherwise plays with, for example, Simbi. They won the audience award at the Classic Jazz Gothenburg Jazz Competition in 2007.
