American timpanist, percussionist and music educator (29 October 1928, Middletown, Connecticut — 9 November 2015, Milwaukee, Wisconsin). Tele Lesbines was the principal timpanist of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra between 1969 and 1999 and a distinguished pedagogue, teaching at the Milwaukee Conservatory, Alverno College and University Of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
