Alfonso D'Agostino

Italian-American violinist and composer (born September 5, 1883 in Avellino, Italy – died in August 1951 in Florida, USA) Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Naples, D'Agostino toured South America as a violinist. In September 1912, he emigrated to the United States; he became a naturalized U.S. citizen in January 1920. For many years, he ran his own music school in Birmingham, Alabama.
