Full Romaji name: Yasue Anai. Japanese new age music pianist, musician, composer. Time and the natural order of things will be your guide, for it is never too soon or too late to live your dream. YASUE is a shining example of this concept. She was privately trained in classical piano beginning at the age of three. Starting at such a young age, she learned to play for the pure enjoyment of the music instead of for fame or money. By age 16 she had formed a band with some of her highschool classmates where she played keyboards on Japanese Pop and American Rock songs. She even began composing her own original tunes. She continued her musical training at the University of Keio where she studied international politics, cultures and nationalities. During her college years YASUE began playing the piano in local restaurants and clubs. She specialized in jazz and popular tunes while occasionally sneaking in a few of her own compositions. While playing the dinner show one night at a club just down the street from the J-Wave Radio offices in Tokyo, YASUE was approached by a producer who heard her music and instantly saw her potential. Like a Hollywood Fairytale, YASUE had been discovered. In 1993, through J-Wave Music, she was introduced to ALPHA Records where she recorded her debut CD of healing instrumental music, showcasing the Japanese Four Seasons, entitled "A Fine Day". To assist in album promotion, she toured the country doing live performances and even wrote and played the theme song for a popular J-Wave Radio morning show. Soon after, "Cosmic Pandora" Yasue's second album, and her first with BMG Classics, was born. "The "Cosmic Pandora was my imaginary view of the world from a distance. My first album was abstract, but this one is pure reality". And its that purity she possessed at the age of three combined with the maturity of a seasoned musician and mother, that allowed YASUE to bring us her most amazing accomplishment yet.
