Sami Ruusukallio

Finnish new wave/rock bassist, born on December 25, 1963. Best known as the bassist of Eppu Normaali, which he joined in 1989. Effectively Eput's third bassist after the departures of Mikko Nevalainen and prior to that in 1979, Mikko Saarela. Maintains an impressive mellifluous style essential to the cohesion of the unit which is one of Finland's biggest punk/postpunk acts and arguably the most successful rock act in the country's history.
