Guitar Slim & His Playboys

Blues band from Louisiana, led by Eddie "Guitar Slim" Jones The Guitar Slim & His Playboys name was used for the 1951 recordings, recorded in Cosimo V. Matassa's studio in New Orleans with Huey "Piano" Smith on piano and Willie Nettles on drums. The trio recorded four tracks: "Bad Luck Is on Me" (also known as "Woman Troubles"), "New Arrival", "Cryin' in the Morning", and "Standin' at the Station".
