Catharsiss is an experimental noise project, featuring Keith Suchland from Tampa Florida. Initially begun, by Keith Suchland, as a studio project, under the name of Alzheimer's Paycheck,in 1989, he changed the name into Catharsiss in 1999 and began performing live, in 2003. Catharsiss' sounds are based on white noise layering and manipulation, coupled with a variety of other sounds, such as electrical, natural, and weather related. Catharsiss has also done white noise remixes of other artists' work, such as Pink Floyd, Masonna and Merzbow and collaborations with Deconstructive Screwdriver Criticism, among others.
