Настоящее имя: The Bible For Dogs
Об исполнителе:
Originally formed in Stoke-On-Trent in the early '80s by Martin Wattinger and Keiran McPeake. The band split up and Martin moved to London where he kept the name and continued to write and perform. There were several line-up changes but the band only released one 7" single called: 'Einer Vunde' in 1987. After pressing a few hundred vinyls, their label 'Timebox Records' collapsed leaving them with no way to distribute the single. They joined the label 'Cheapsound Cheapvision' which featured the band 'Mudguards..' in which Martin had featured on the bass for a short while. Many copies of 'Einer Vunde' were distributed for free through the House Of Dolls fanzine. In 1988, the band just consisting of Wattinger and Holford made an 8-track tape version of 'Einer Vunde' featuring previously unreleased songs and an extended version of the song 'Dull Day'. The final incarnation of the band featured: Martin Wattinger - Vocals Pete Jones - Guitar Ian Holford - Drums Simon Edwards - Bass They disbanded around 1989. Former band member Pete Jones has passed away. In 2020, MINIMALKOMBINAT released a 28 song 12" Compilation of The Bible For Dogs featuring the full 'Einer Vunde' single including previously unheard demo versions and a cover of 'Rocket USA' by the duo Suicide. Only 23 copies were ever produced.
