Acoustic guitar / sitar player. Ljubiša Ristić (born in Niš) is son of a Yugoslav diplomat thus in sixties he has been living for some years abroad - four years in Vienna, Austria, and after that in India for four years, 1966 - 1970. From India Ljubiša Ristić has returned to Belgrade, in order to attend high school (8th Belgrade gymnasium), bringing a sitar and tablas with - instruments never seen before in Yugoslavia. He met the other future members of the group Ganeša in the gymnasium playing together in musical section, among them the only member except him who played and sang on all Ganesha releases (three singles) - Bojan Kveder. During his studies he met American student in Belgrade Julie Caringi and she fell in love with him because of his huge moustache (like of medieval Serbian prince Kraljević Marko). She played flute on Ganesha's first single. (They married 1979 and live together in New York.) During seventies he was appearing on several records as guest sitar player, at least one of them uncredited: PGP single release of Dragan Mijalkovski - Idi, dušo moja, S 52 622 (S 52622) - Idi Dušo Moja.
