Tacoy Ryde

Canadian band formed in Stettler, Alberta in 1967 by original members Barrie Nighswander, Duane Smith and Don Mackay. Soon after their first paying gig in 1968 they soon added Ken Kirkwood and P.J. Booth. In 1972 they moved to Regina and a few months later moved to Saskatoon then in January 1973 they moved to Edmonton, which would remain their home base until present day. After numerous lineup changes, in 1983 they changed musical directions and renamed themselves JATO. After the 1988 demise of their label, Parallel One, they reverted back to Tacoy Ryde.
