Svante Thuresson was a Swedish jazz singer, actor and voice actor, born 7 February 1937 in S:t Johannes församling, Stockholm, Sweden. Died 10 May 2021. He played the drums in the vocal group Gals and Pals from 1963, but was soon one of the singers. He appeared as extras in light, Swedish comedies, and did a lot of voice-over, as well as singing jazz duets with new, young and popular artists. But his main love was always jazz singing... In 1966, he and Lill Lindfors ended up 2nd place in ESC (Eurovison Song Contest) with 'Nygammal vals'.
