Brass band director, teacher and trumpet/cornet player (born Maesteg, South Wales 1942). Associated with some of the leading championship brass bands in Great Britain – from Carlton Main and Grimethorpe Colliery to Yorkshire Imperial Metals, Rigid Containers, Bo’ness & Carriden, Kirkintilloch and many, many more. Died 12th February 2010.
