Andrew Flory

Rock and R&B historian, expert on Motown. Flory is the author of I Hear a Symphony: Motown and Crossover R&B (Michigan, 2017) and the industry-leading history of rock textbook What’s that Sound (Norton, 2018). He is a professor at Carleton College in Northfield, MN. He works as a consultant for Universal Music Enterprises, and has co-produced many Motown-oriented reissues.
