Marjorie Daw

British-South African dance band singer, born in Hackney, London, on 19 November 1926. A resident of South Africa, she returned to England in 1949. In 1952, she married drummer Kenny Clare, who was a fellow member of Oscar Rabin's band, in Essex. He died in 1985, survived by his wife.
