Yoshi Nagato

Japanese music producer and writer. From the early to late eighties, he worked as a manager and producer for Japanese groups Sugar Babe and Tin Pan Alley. In the eighties he was the manager of Pizzicato Five, as well as a promoter/producer for tours by non-Japanese artists including Van Dyke Parks, Phoebe Snow, Richard Thompson, Dr. John, Laura Nyro. He also ran the Village Green (2) label for Pony Canyon. Since January 2019, the 6th floor of Tower Records in Shibuya, Japan houses Nagato-san's selections/record store "Pied Piper House". He has done at least two series/liner notes for major labels using the Pied Piper moniker including Pied Piper Days Paper Sleeve Collection
