Michael Bowie (3)

British classical violist. Born 5 March 1933 in Hastings, Sussex, England, UK. He studied at the Royal College of Music, London. Former member of the London Symphony Orchestra (1956-1960). Co-founder of the University Of Alberta String Quartet in 1969. He has taught at several western Canadian universities, has performed extensively as a violist and conductor, and has written articles on related subjects.
