Carmine Capasso (born 9 June 1989 in Caserta) is an Italian songwriter, guitarist and session man. He is former guitarist of The Trip (19). He has collaborated with several Italian and international artists and collaborates with The Samurai of prog. He is a skilled multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He will become in time one of the most sought-after guitarists in rock, blues and progressive music, and often called a guitar virtuoso by several music critics. His collaborations with famous Italian and international artists are well known, and he is also a sought-after session man and turn player for The Samurai of Prog, The Trip, Sasha Torrisi (Timoria), Delta Moon, Sherrita Duran (Gianni Morandi's backing vocalist), Antonio Onorato (Pino Daniele's collaborator), and Arturo Stalteri (Pierrot Lunaire and Rino Gaetano's keyboardist). As a singer-songwriter, his songs boast of rotations on various radio and television channels, including Mediaset and MTV. He is former lead guitarist for the historic progressive rock band The Trip as well as producer of the album "Caronte 50 Years Later" and also released, with the band, the unreleased album titled "Now the time has come" released in 2023. Five years after his last EP, December 2, 2022, "Assenza di gravità" Carmine Capasso's first album, was released on the Ma.ra.cash Records label.
