The music of international performing and recording artist, Gloria Hays, features singable songs for young and old alike with instruments from around the world. Gloria brings to audiences the hammer and mountain dulcimers, guitar, other string instruments as well as ethnic drums and percussion, providing education and interactive fun. Gloria is a recording artist, radio show host at Community Radio Station WORT-FM/Madison, WI and long time veteran of stages throughout the United States and beyond. She has performed at festivals, libraries, schools and anywhere people come to enjoy music. She has played at some of the largest festivals in the world, including Milwaukee’s Irishfest and Summerfest. She has taken her music to many European countries as well as India, Indonesia, Australia, Egypt, Dubai in the UAE, Nepal and several Caribbean islands. After raising 4 children and spending over 25 years on the road, she now devotes most of her time sharing her gifts with people at the end of life as a hospice nurse. She is founder of the Madison Song Circle and also active in Social Justice Causes, where she uses song as a voice of the people. Gloria now makes her home in Florida but returns regularly to her homeland of Wisconsin, where you can often find her at the WI State Capitol as a participant in the longest singing protest in history, the Solidarity Sing Along which has gathered well over 1000 times, since February 2011, every weekday from noon to 1pm.
